Fonctionnement :
The biological wastewater treatment plant O2FIX® consists of:
- double-tank primary settler: run-of-river pre-treatment, TSS decantation, grease retention, optimisation of anaerobic digestion of sludge (primary and excess biological sludge stored) to reduce the volume of sludge to be extracted
- fluidized bed biological reactor: design validated by hydraulic control combined with the properties of the biological support media and the performance of air diffusers supplied by a highly reliable compressor. The purification performance for COD, BOD5 and TSS parameters meets the requirements of the decree of July 21, 2015, even under conditions of significant underload or variable loads
- secondary settler: separation of biological sludge before discharge; excess sludge is then withdrawn and transferred to the primary settler.The treated water can be discharged into surface water or infiltrated into the soil, or reused after post-treatment.
