Careening activities account for a significant proportion of pollution in both inland and seaports. As a source of heavy metals, suspended solids and organic loads, treatment of these effluents is essential to prevent pollution of harbor sediments and ensure good quality bathing water.
Expertise
In the field of careening water treatment, we have over 10 years’ experience, based in particular on laboratory tests and numerous measurement campaigns on our projects.
The design
We intervene at various stages of careening water treatment:
- Collection of these effluents, particularly in the case of slipways subject to tidal swings
- Pre-treatment by screening, settling and oil removal
- Up to reuse of treated effluent
We develop rustic solutions based on decantation and filtration (with absorption and adsorption), as well as more elaborate solutions using physico-chemical processes.
Construction
The general environment of the techniques implemented requires the use of inert materials, such as stainless steel and composite . Depending on the solution chosen, a ready-to-install technical room can be installed close to the treatment plant, housing all the control systems and functions.
Follow-up
The performance of all the proposed processes has been validated, and has contributed to our solutions being selected by the Loire Bretagne Water Agency as part of its Vague Bleue program.
