The KAG02 grease alarm is a device associated with grease separators that ensures optimal operation of the equipment through a grease layer control system.
Conception :
- IP 65 polycarbonate control unit for wall mounting. Power supply 220 V AC - 50 to 60 Hz. Dimensions (LxHxD): 120 x 80 x 55 mm
- Signaling by 3 LEDs: LED (green) for operation; LED (yellow) for triggered and unacknowledged alarm; LED (red) for alarm in progress
- Built-in acoustic alarm
- PE/stainless steel grease layer detection probe, IP 68, based on high-frequency capacitive measurement
- Relay output 230V AC, 3 A, potential-free changeover contact
Fonctionnement :
The KAG02 alarm system triggers an optical and audible signal as soon as the grease layer in the separator reaches the lower part of the probe. Its positioning depends on the separator's retention volume. It indicates when the separator needs to be emptied. The control unit, to be installed outside the ATEX zone, and its probe comply with ATEX directive 94/9/EC.
