The KAH012 solar hydrocarbon alarm is an ATEX-certified device associated with pretreatment structures (settling tanks and oil separators) that ensures optimal operation of the equipment through a level control system.
Conception :
- The system includes two IP65-rated polycarbonate enclosures: one housing the control unit (175 x 125 x 75 mm) and the other containing the battery (125 x 175 x 50 mm)
- ATEX Certification: Control unit II (1) G [Ex ia Ga] IIB to be installed in a non-hazardous area, associated with an oil probe certified II 1 G Ex ia IIA T5 Ga, suitable for installation in Zone 0
- Model suitable for ambient temperatures ranging from -10°C to +45°C, with a battery pack consisting of 10 included LR14 1.5V alkaline cells
- Alarm transmission via GSM (SIM card not included)
- The KAH012 alarm checks the status of the hydrocarbon detection probe every 10 minutes, allowing for approximately one year of autonomy with the factory settings and the supplied batteries
Fonctionnement :
The KAH012 alarm system sends a GSM text message as soon as the oil layer inside the separator reaches the upper part of the detection probe, according to the defined measurement interval (default: every 10 minutes).The alarm notifies the operator when it is necessary to empty or clean the separator.The KAH012 unit must be installed outside ATEX zones. Only the hydrocarbon probe is certified for use in Zone 0.The system is fully autonomous, powered by a battery pack, and offers an operating life of approximately one year under standard conditions.
