Urban rainwater

Our definition of Urban Stormwater refers to projects to treat water from rainfall runoff in urban areas, in the heart of towns and cities, whether at source or downstream of large catchment areas.

Expertise

The knowledge we have acquired in this field, linked to our experience (R&D work, numerous projects…) and our regular participation in working groups, conferences…, gives us genuine expertise in the management and treatment of urban stormwater. Equipped with the VICAS protocol, our in-house laboratory is able to establish the velocity curve of suspended solids, a decisive criterion for the design of treatment units.

The design

For urban stormwater projects, we take into account all the parameters of the catchment area to develop our overall solution:
  • Analysis of possible technical solutions (alternative techniques, downstream treatment)
  • Qualitative and quantitative end-of-pipe requirements
  • Implementation of the chosen solution
  • Operation in consultation with project stakeholders

Construction

All of the above parameters are reflected in one or more treatment structures. The materials selected meet the following requirements:
  • presence of groundwater,
  • land push,
  • aggressive environment…

Follow-up

The follow-up we provide to our projects enables us to constantly update our databases, thus ensuring that our upstream expertise is as complete as possible.
