Built in 1992, Marange Silvange’s Saint François storm water basin was recently rehabilitated with the setting up of an automatic cleaning system. This open-air basin is moreover located just a few metres from homes.A call for tenders was issued with as the main problem: respecting the tranquillity of the neighbourhood.

APPRAISAL

As the basin is of circular shape, the decision for the cleaning solution was to set up 2 prefabricated stainless steel CYMO ® flushing tanks, for the central track and the peripheral track, anchored in the concrete invert in the lower part. In each flushing tank, a manhole comprising the suction head and its silencer was designed, which makes it possible to reduce intervention time on site and facilitate implementation.
