ALARM SYSTEM FOR OIL WATER SEPARATOR- KAH050

Application

The KAH050 alarm is a device associated with pre-treatment systems (decanters and hydrocarbon separators) that ensures the optimal operation of the system by a level control system

Descriptif

Conception

  • IP 65 polycarbonate control unit for wall mounting. Power supply 230 V AC - 9 VA - 50 Hz. Dimensions (WxHxD) : 240 x 120 x 70 mm

  • ATEX certification : Control unit certified BVS 07 ATEX E 090 to be installed in a non-hazardous zone, associated with the BVS 07 ATEX E 091 X certified hydrocarbon probe that can be installed in zone 0

  • Signaling by 6 LEDs (operation and alarm)

  • Built-in audible alarm (deactivable)

  • Buttons on the front of the enclosure for testing and reset of the alarm

  • PE/Stainless steel hydrocarbon layer detection probe, IP 68, based on high-frequency capacitive measurement, with cable length 10 meters (maximum length : 300 m)

  • 3 relay output, 230 V AC, 3A, potential-free inverter contacts

Fonctionnement

The KAH050 alarm system triggers an optical and audible signal as soon as the layer of hydrocarbons (sludge or high level depending on the options chosen), present in the decanter or separator, reaches the upper part of the probe. Its positioning depends on the retention volume of the separator. It indicates when to empty or clean the separator. The control box to be installed outside the ATEX zone and its probe comply with the ATEX directive 94/9/EG.
